In its letters the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine ordered the Treasury Service to block additional accounts in the electronic VAT administration system, opened for agricultural producers, starting with January 1, 2017. Therefore, the producers are not able to load the additional electronic VAT accounts to register the invoices drawn up in December 2016.
Thus, Samopomich MP, Ivan Miroshnichenko, has sent a deputy’s appeal with a demand to investigate the situation and to prolong the operation of such accounts in an electronic VAT administration system.
According to the MP, under the current legislation these accounts should operate by February 20, 2017. That is, in fact, by its by-law the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine is creating a regulation which runs contrary to the provisions of the law.
“This situation is totally unacceptable in the light of the statements of the Cabinet about its broad support for the agricultural sector – which is perhaps the only sector that manages to demonstrate positive tendencies in the conditions of the existing financial crisis, the one that constantly attracts significant investment and provides a huge number of jobs for Ukrainians,” says Ivan Miroshnichenko.
Therefore, together with his colleagues from the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations, the lawmaker has prepared and sent a deputy appeal to the Chairman of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the Minister of Finances of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy, the business ombudsman, and the President of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine requiring to urgently explore the problem and solve it.
