During the meeting of the parliament’s coordination board, the chairman of the Samopomich Union faction Oleh Bereziuk noted that the senior officials of the Ukrainian state government are trying to impose a parallel, distorted reality that has nothing to do with the real life of ordinary people.
“People are getting poorer: in villages and small towns, especially in the highland areas of the Carpathians, people do not receive wages for several months in a row, school buses do not operate, and children have to walk 8 and more kilometers on foot to the school and back. This is a question to the President of Ukraine and the government – do we have corruption and do we have a real functional government?
At the same time, the Prime Minister states that when speaking about corruption in Ukraine, things are being exaggerated. So, I want to advise the Prime Minister to ask how much a square meter of permission for construction or housing costs. It costs $6 per square meter – just like in the times of the previous authorities. Let the head of government check who controls this incredible corruption, which has not disappeared since the previous government’s times,” says Oleh Bereziuk.
