The bill, which should cancel “Rotterdam+”, is not included in the agenda of the ninth session. MP Viktoriia Voitsitska believes this is unacceptable.
She emphasizes, “With the help of this scheme, Akhmetov collects 1 billion 200 million hryvnias from us every month. Meanwhile, the government advises Ukrainians to pull in their belts, and warns that about 30% of subsidy receivers are going to lose their right to it.”
The lawmaker is convinced, ” Ukrainians are waiting for justice and look at the parliament as at their last hope, because the new composition of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities appointed by the President has sided with the oligarch and is willing to preserve the corruption scheme “Rotterdam+” at least by July 1, 2019″.
Viktoriia Voitsitska concludes, “On July 1, 2016, Prime Minister Hroisman said that the “Rotterdam+” scheme was unacceptable and the government’s reaction in this matter would be very public. I count on the government’s support of the draft law 8626 and I hope to see it on the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada.
