This week, the government and the coalition have taken the step towards the abolishment of the special pensions which are paid to judges, prosecutors and civil servants. This was announced by Chairman of the “Samopomich” Union faction Oleh Bereziuk.
After the adoption of this week’s amendments the recipients of the special pensions now have to decide – either to work, or to receive pension.
“The government officials won’t be able to get 15 thousand hryvnias of pension and 7 thousand hryvnias of salary at the same time,” – said the deputy.
In addition, the coalition has set the task before thegovernment – by 1 June to draft a law that would abolish the special procedure for calculating pensions at all.
“If we all live in one country, work the same number of years, have the same problems, we should all receive the same pension,” – said OlehBereziuk.
