“Samopomich” will nominate 46 mayoral candidates

The “Samopomich” Union faction at its congress in Kyiv has put up for public discussion the list of 46 mayoral candidates in the elections on 25 October. Among them there are 11 regional centers. In particular:

Kyiv – Serhiy Husovskyi (chairman of the “Samopomich” Union faction in the Kyiv City Council)

Lviv – Andriy Sadovyi (current mayor of Lviv)

Ivano-Frankivsk – Iryna Kulynych (Director of the Department of Economic Policy in Lviv City Council)

Ternopil – Taras Pastukh (MP, “Samopomich” Union faction)

Kirovohrad – Viktoriia Atamanchuk (Deputy Chairman of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration for Humanitarian Affairs)

Mykolaiv – Oleksandr Senkevych (Chairman of the Mykolaiv branch of “Samopomich”, Director of “Blink Reaction International”)

Zhytomyr – Nataliya Chyzh (Head of the city organization of “Samopomich”, director of “Agromaks Trade”)

Kherson – Andriy Dmytriyev (Head of Kherson city office of “Samopomich”, private entrepreneur)

Kharkiv – Taras Sitenko (Chairman of Kharkiv “Samopomich” organization, orthopedic traumatologist)

Cherkasy – Roman Shevchenko (Director of the ‘Cherkasy repair plant”)

Chernihiv – Volodymyr Zub (Head of Health Department of Lviv City Council)

“I am absolutely convinced that the Ukrainian cities are the engines that will bring Ukraine forward. Their success will be able to give birth to new political and administrative elite of the country, to form new human resources for the state government,” said leader of the “Samopomich” Union Andriy Sadovyi.

By the time of the formal nomination of candidates by the local units in late September, there will be a public discussion of the candidates on the samopomich.uawebsite. Previously, the same procedure has taken place in regard of more than 2 thousand potential local deputies from “Samopomich”.

During its congress, “Samopomich” also approved the list of the regional, district, city and town councils, in which the party will nominate its representatives – altogether more than 200.
