People’s deputies from “Samopomich” take advantage of the break between the sessions of the Verkhovna Rada in order to meet and talk with people. Thus, during their business trips lawmakers Oleh Bereziuk and Ivan Miroshnichenko visited the agricultural regions of the country – Cherkasy, Mykolayiv, Kherson and Dnipro regions – and held meetings with local farmers.
According to the chairman of the “Samopomich” faction, Oleh Bereziuk, today Ukrainian farmers make up a new and high-quality class of people which, unfortunately, has arisen not due to the government support, but against the backdrop of its absence.
“They say, “The only thing we need is a transparent and predictable tax system,” says Oleh Bereziuk. So today we are facing a very important task – to preserve the fixed agricultural tax and to return or preserve at the current level, despite the IMF, the special regime of taxation for agricultural producers. This way we will save the industry and will be able to develop it. This is what common farmers from Cherkasy, Mykolayiv and Kherson regions want.”
