The Verkhovna Rada has adopted the bill (№№2010-d) which deprives the Kliuyevs the opportunity to obtain daily 8 million UAH of super profit from solar power stations.
284 deputies voted “for” the decision.
“Representatives of the Opposition Bloc called the bill to be technical; well, then its technicality lies in the fact that after the law’s entry into force, the Kliuyevs won’t be able to receive 8 million UAH per day due to the excessive tariffs for solar energy,” said deputy of the “Samopomich” faction Lev Pidlisetskyi when considering the law.
“Samopomich” deputies note that the adoption of this law creates competitive conditions in the energy market, making no preferences to individual companies.
In addition, according to the faction’s MPs, it’s another step in making the country non-Kliuyev-like.
“Yesterday, we voted for the withdrawal of the immunity of Serhiy Kliuyev, today we deprived him the opportunity to obtain super profit from solar power stations,” stated Pidlisetskyi.
