“Samopomich” deputies filed an anti-discrimination amendment to the new Labour Code

To put an end to all the speculations about the anti-discrimination amendment, members of the “Samopomich” faction filed their amendment to the adopted in the first reading draft law of the Labour Code (#1658).

This was reported by a deputy of the “Samopomich” faction, Roman Semenukha.

“Last week the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading the draft law of the new Labour Code. While preparing it for the second reading we decided to introduce an amendment recommended by the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches,” he said.

The MP informs that the amendment is represented as follows, “discrimination for the attitude towards sexuality/sexual relations is prohibited”.
