In 2018, it was Sadovyi who spoke the truth the most – VoxChek

The fact-checking project VoxCheck verified the 2018 statements of state leaders and politicians who are leading in sociological polls before the presidential and parliamentary elections.

According to the analysis, from among the top politicians, it was Andriy Sadovyi, the mayor of Lviv and the candidate for the position of President of Ukraine, who spoke the truth the most.

The project team identified 73.1% of true statements in the politician’s rhetoric in 2018.

“In 2019, Andriy Sadovyi launched an active promotional campaign, gave several interviews, and his rhetoric has changed a lot. He has turned from a local official into a nation-wide politician. Sadovyi-2019 talks a lot about the fate of the country, comments on relations with the IMF, macroeconomic issues,” points out the project team.
