The main task of the fifth session of the Parliament is the work with the budget, which should manifest the stability of Ukraine. This was said by the leader of the “Samopomich Union” faction, Oleh Bereziuk, during the coordination board meeting.
“The government should submit the budget to the parliament in time for the committee to work on it properly so that people could see the final version,” Bereziuk stressed.
According to him, the answers to many questions about the life of Ukrainians can be found in the budget of Ukraine. Among the problems that are acute for Ukrainians the MP particularly draws attention to the problem of poverty with which Ukrainians are facing when people have to survive with less than 950 hryvnias.
The lawmaker also focused on the fact that local budgets of many cities don’t receive any funds from the central government.
“A lot of mayors are crying out – do not rob the local budgets, work on the central budget. Because by underpaying doctors, nurses, teachers, you take away money from kindergartens, school and so on. This is robbery, these are dishonest relations. The central government is living in a parallel reality to the people,” Oleh Bereziuk.
