It could have been possible to reach compromises in very many fundamentally important issues today during the consideration of amendments to the bill on reintegration in the relevant committee. This point of view is expressed by Samopomich MP Taras Pastukh. However, the committee’s work was disrupted.
“I think Serhiy Pashynskyi simply didn’t get the go-ahead for the consideration of the amendments today. After all, from the very beginning it was clear that the overwhelming majority of amendments, on which people’s deputies insisted, could have been considered, and as a result, this law could have become really unfavorable to the Russian Federation.
Therefore, the chairman of the committee actually disrupted the consideration of the bill – new working groups were created, which will decide instead of MPs which amendments should be taken into account,” Taras Pastukh says.
The MP notes that this situation is another signal that someone intends to kill this law: “We were supposed to start working today in order to have a ready decision tomorrow and to vote for it in the parliament next week. But I would like to draw the attention of all the deputies to what has happened – this absolutely does not comply with the regulations.”
