The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Justice considered the application of Volodymyr Hroisman about his resignation from the post of Prime Minister during its meeting. Next, there should be the consideration of this issue in the session hall of the parliament. MP Ruslan Sydorovych from the Samopomich Union faction says it is quite possible that this will happen at the morning plenary session on Thursday, May 30.
At the same time, the MP is convinced that before the decision is made, Hroisman should report on the results of his work in office. Ruslan Sydorovych emphasizes: “He must come to the rostrum, explain the reasons for his resignation, give a report.” Given the fact that the Prime Minister has already announced his intention to run for a seat in parliamentary elections, this report will be especially interesting and useful for the Ukrainians to hear.
In addition, the people’s deputy dispels the provocative talks saying that in the event of the Prime Minister’s resignation, the entire Cabinet of Ministers will be dismissed. “It will be only Mr. Hroisman who will leave, the rest will remain in their places, they will have the “acting” prefix to their positions,” Ruslan Sydorovych explains.
