MP Olena Sotnyk from the Samopomich Union faction addresses the Prosecutor General of Ukraine with two questions related to the investigation of the murder of Kherson activist Kateryna Handziuk.
First of all, the other day Vladyslav Manher, who is suspected of organizing the murder of the girl, did not come to the appeal hearing thus violating the release on bail terms. The parliamentarian notes, “Where are the actions of the Prosecutor General’s Office in connection with the fact that the person has already violated the release on bail terms? They have done nothing.”
Secondly, the Prosecutor General said that he knew the names of the customers (!); that is, we are talking about several people. “Why is there only one person in the dock then?” Olena Sotnyk addresses Yuriy Lutsenko.
The people’s deputy sums up: “I have a feeling that we are once again witnessing a story of political squabbles and politicking instead of actually punishing the guilty ones.”
