The decision to impose martial law concerns the rights and freedoms of every person in Ukraine. Therefore, the faction of Samopomich in the parliament demands the following things:

– The Presidential Order on the introduction of martial law should be promulgated earlier; it should indicate the reasons for the introduction of martial law, in which territory it is introduced and which rights and freedoms of people will be restricted;

– The meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, at which this Order will be considered, should be open – for people to see and have explanations regarding how this Order will concern them, which particular rights can be restricted, for how long and why;

– In addition to the Order on the introduction of martial law, the Supreme Commander is obliged to issue an order on the use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
