It’s time for those in the Verkhovna Rada who claim their fight for the interests of the poor to explain how they themselves got so rich.
This is underscored by Samopomich Union faction MP, chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Preventing and Combating Corruption, Yehor Soboliev.
“I promise everyone that Samopomich will start with itself. Our faction will uphold all the laws adopted here from the very first till the very last day.
We have already passed a lot of anti-corruption laws in relation to judges, prosecutors, ministers. But the most important thing is to get rid of those who have always been in politics and have earned millions meanwhile. Therefore, it is crucial to enact laws on the Anti-Corruption Bureau’s right to have its “wiretapping”, on the Anti-Corruption Court, on open party lists, and on banning of political advertising,” says Yehor Soboliev.
