“The first NATO standard is the dignity of a soldier” – Sadovyi

What are the Ukrainian military coming back from the war with? How does the state thank them?

According to the leader of Samopomich and Lviv mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, in Lviv, every military man returning from the war receives material assistance in the amount of 100,000 hryvnias from the city’s community.

If this military man is an orphan or was seriously injured, or, God forbid, the family lost a breadwinner, the city provides such people with an apartment.

“More than 2,400 veterans in Lviv have already received a one-time payment of 100,000 hryvnias in the course of the last three years. And when forming the budget for this year, the Samopomich faction in the parliament called on the government to introduce such a program throughout the country. Why can’t this be done? After all, the dignity of a soldier is the first NATO standard,” notes Andriy Sadovyi.
