According to the chairman of the Samopomich faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Oleh Bereziuk, the agenda, which was presented during the meeting of the coordination board of the parliament, openly ignores the real needs of the Ukrainian society.
“This is a syndrome of teeming activity that covers the embezzlement and oligarchization of our country, oligarchization of the politics, the economy, and, perhaps, destruction of the very sovereignty of this country. A couple of examples: Zakharivka village of the Odesa region, very close to Transnistria. A young man, 30 years old, with a severe form of cerebral palsy. Somehow he does not have a passport, a group of disability, and a pension either.
He lives exclusively due to the help of the community. He has received dozens of letters, including from the Presidential Administration and the Ministry of Justice on their inability to make sure that the disabled person could at least receive his pension. Whose state is this? His state?
Balakliya. The state funds are allocated only to a third of those apartments and houses that can be restored. And who will restore everything else? Moreover, the head of the garrison, under which this all happened, continues in his office and is also investigating his own activities himself. Novobohdanivka, Lozova, Svatovo, Balakliya. Who has carried out an investigation, who has been held responsible?
Meanwhile, the authorities are telling us about economic achievements and the invariability of the course of reforms.
I have some doubts when I hear the Prime Minister’s statements about the need to cancel the service fees for gas. After all, at the same time representatives of the coalition argue that those who are outraged because of the additional payment are public opinion speculators and enemies. And this issue – the introduction of fees for the gas supply is the most topical one in the country now. So, the Ukrainian people are the enemy?
Once again I have a question: when finally the agenda will not be an imitation any more, but will include some really important topics: the law on the anti-corruption court, the law on the removal of the immunity, the law on elections on a proportional basis. Samopomich faction notes that to date the law on the occupied territories has not been included in the agenda of the parliament.
The committee and the working group have finalized the law. It can be already signed. Then do so, my fellow leaders of the factions!
The temporarily occupied territories should not destroy the body of the country, which should take care of people, especially of those like this man with cerebral palsy in Zakharivka in the Odesa region,” the MP notes.
