According to the deputy from the Samopomich Union faction, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Informatization and Communications, Oleksandr Danchenko, the tender for 4G additionally brought 1.8 billion hryvnias to the state budget of Ukraine.
He says, “These are the means which are used throughout the world for the development of the industry. This is a resource that can be used for digital infrastructure.”
The lawmaker states that now it is vitally important to develop a plan for the digitalization of Ukraine and overcoming the digital gap. The politician emphasizes, “We are working on this, the plan needs to be approved in the near future.”
In addition to this, he underscores that the adoption of draft laws on electronic communications and radio frequency resources by the Verkhovna Rada is very important for the development of the industry. Their consideration is scheduled for Thursday, April 19.
“It is very important that we vote for these bills. This is important for the continuation of the digitalization reform, which will let provide services at other frequencies, develop rural medicine,” concludes Oleksandr Danchenko.
