According to the Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oksana Syroyid, the slogans about joining NATO is another attempt by the authorities to divert people’s attention from their criminal inactivity over the four years of the war.
She notes that a real plan for joining NATO is when soldiers know how to fight, know what they are fighting for, and have weapons to fight with; this is when the Commander-in-Chief cares about the soldiers; when there is a transparent defence budget and a command system that cares for the soldiers, “While the President’s bill on national security, as well as Shirokyi Lan military training ground, “Ukroboronprom”, and the military prosecutor’s office are, in fact, the destruction of the Ukrainian army and a plan to become part of Russia.”
“If you want to join NATO, you must first destroy the “Soviet army” in Ukraine, stop stealing from the army, destroy “Ukroboronprom”, and pas an order on the use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This will be a real accession to NATO membership,” states Oksana Syroyid.
Therefore, during the meeting of the coordination board of the parliament, the Vice Speaker called for the inclusion of the bill 6052 in the agenda. This is the bill on improving the performance of military service by citizens, which, according to the Vice Speaker, will protect the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
