13 MPs representing Samopomich were included in the rating of the most effective parliamentarians. The activities of the deputies were analyzed on the basis of several criteria and top 25 lawmakers were selected. More than half of them are Samopomich members.
Analysts of the “Chesno” (Honestly) movement analyzed the work of parliamentarians according to six criteria: non-personal voting, truancy, support of anti-democratic initiatives, bribery of voters, connection with corruption crimes, as well as voting for political reforms.
As a result, 13 people’s deputies from Samopomich received the highest score, in particular, Oksana Syroyid, Liubomyr Zubach, Tetiana Ostrikova, Oleh Lavryk, Ruslan Sydorovych, Roman Semenukha, Iryna Podoliak, Lev Pidlisetskyi.
One of the most telling criteria is the support of five political reforms: Electoral Code, law on the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, financing of parties from the state budget, creation of the NABU, abolition of the general supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office. Samopomich deputies did not only support each of them but also were their co-authors and co-developers.
