“Young people should build a country, and we will help them do this” – Andriy Sadovyi

Quality education in the best universities of the world, the possibility of a first career step, support for their own business and affordable housing – Sadovyi explained his team’s youth policy.

“Young people should be at the forefront of political processes. No one will ever build a country for them. They should go ahead, win and build a country for themselves. The task we are setting today is to ensure affordable housing loans and the possibility of a first career step. And I want to provide an example of Lviv here. We have more than 10,000 students who have completed internships in the city council, and the best of them have got jobs,” noted the leader of the Samopomich Union, a future candidate for the presidency, Andriy Sadovyi, in a comment to the TV channel “24”.

In addition, there should be an effective state program for starting a business of your own. Such grants are already being awarded in Lviv. One more task is to ensure quality education, including abroad.

“If you know a promising person, help him/her to study at Oxford, Cambridge or Harvard for at least a year. Then this person will be able to come back here with new knowledge and, working in a public office, he/she will be able to make this country successful. These are the things that the state should be doing now. If there is no support for young people, they will leave. And what do young people mean for us? They are the engine that drives the country forward. We cannot lose it,” added Sadovyi.
