Following the morning protests of activists, the Constitutional Court postponed the consideration of lawsuits concerning the repeal of the law on lustration.
This is reported by Oleksandra Drik, an anti-corruption activist, the head of the council of the Public Lustration Committee, and the 3rd number on the Samopomich electoral list.
We shall recall that the lawsuits about the repeal of the law on lustration were filed by judges and ex-members of the Party of Regions back in 2015, but the Constitutional Court has been considering this case for four years and has not managed to pass a decision. Every time the court began to consider this issue, activists organized protests and defended the law.
Oleksandra Drik notes that lustration is the only barrier that does not allow ex-members of the Party of Regions to return to government posts.
