According to the chairman of the Samopomich Union faction Oleh Bereziuk, the budget for the next year has not yet been adopted, the MPs have not seen its final version by and large, yet the central channels are actively advertising it for God knows whose money.
“Only two words come to my mind: cynicism and simulacra – a simulation of what doesn’t actually exist. What is this for? Can’t the money spent on advertising of the unadopted budget be spent on building the road from the village of Derkany to the village of Oselia in the Yavoriv district of Lviv region where children can’t get to the school over the last three weeks because the road had disappeared and the carrier refused to transfer children to the school in such conditions? And this is happening in the 21st century!
No doubt, the country’s budget is important and necessary. No doubt, it must be adopted on time. But so far we can only hear the Prime Minister saying that all the tools of destroying the strength of local communities related to their budgets have been taken away: that the size of the reverse subsidy has been returned to the level of 2017 and the shifting of benefits and debts for housing and communal services has been canceled.
We can also hear the President supporting the idea of imposing a tax on the withdrawn capital. But when is it going to happen? In this budget? Or we will spend another year talking about all this again, and the budget will continue to be filled from the pockets of Ukrainians rather than at the expense of the oligarchy and the mafia built on the Ukrainian resources?
It is very important to know this, instead of advertising a nonexistent budget on television,” Oleh Bereziuk emphasized.
